Reasonable enough, but where do you GET the info from? Would I be correct in assuming that the above statement is called within a *.cnd program?
The part I am unclear on is where the *.cnd program is called. The docs say it's in mgetty.config, but I can't find any mention of the syntax, or location within that file.
is it like "cnd-program general.cnd"?? ... and if so, where in mgetty.config does it go?

I've been reading about this all night, and am getting an idea of how it works. Still unclear on many parts.

Will do later.. very tired now. Was hoping to crack it tonite, but Perhaps I'll sleep on the problem for now.

Turns out I had to upgrade anyhow for the new caller ID features... so I compiled and installed all of 1.1.20, but kept my old pvftools. Seems to work well.
Gnite.
