USR voice pro (voice only)

Hello;

           I have a USR Voice pro (with usb that I don't use) running
vgetty.  I have went through the archives.
I have looked at the FAQ.  I am running a debian system. Still, I can
only get it to answer in voice mode.
I have my log file attached with maximum logging.  What am I doing wrong
or is this modem damaged.
