So at least 6.13 (which is fairly old) has it, I have another one with
6.16 which (not surprisingly) gives the same.  (Anyone knows what the
difference between at+vsm=3 and at+vsm=30 is?)

I'll probably have all the 1496's here upgraded to 6.19 soon, so if
you want to join in, Gert, just tell me and send the EPROMs :-).
