According to the 6.13 quick reference card:

  +VSM=n    Voice compression method selection
  ...
  n=3       28800bps 3-bit ADPCM
  n=30      30720bps 3-bit ADPCM

I picked the reference card up as a postscript file on the net in
1994.  I don't remember where from - presumably zyxel.  The file is
named atqr613.ps
