Is the vgetty needed even if I don't need voice but only faxes and
logins?
And BTW, do I need isdn4linux ?

If I understood you correctly, the caller-ID is simply replaced by
the dialed phone number. Is it correct?

Do you mean "ZyXEL Elite 2864I"?  Wow, it's expensive here (in
