The patch does those things:
   1. it enables vgetty to pass caller and called ID to the vgetty script
   2. it enables the cnd script to accept, ignore or reject called MSNs.

Thus, if you just want to notice what is the called ID, save it in a
file (e.g. /tmp/ttyS0.where_to), then in new_fax process it, you don't
need any special version or patch.

gert, another way would be to set CALLER_ID and CALLED_ID before
launching new_fax ?  For the former, it's done already I think.
