Vgetty receives no fax !

Read the section about how vgetty answers the phone and determines, if
it is a fax. Then you will understand, why vgetty always answers the
phone with the greeting message. Also read the section about how to
report a problem, then you will know, that the debug level was too
low to see any interesting things going on. Ok, ok, the logfile
posted showed, that the modem did not detect a fax at the other end
and after a while the remote end hung up and vgetty detected a busy
signal and hung up too. There is nothing to do in this situation. If
the modem doesn't detect a fax at the other side, vgetty can't do
anything about it.

I'm at the moment very bored about people using vgetty commercially
and requesting support from me without offering anything or with
offering something, but never doing what they promised, once things
are working. So please forgive me, that I'm not willing to answer
mails about things, that are decribed in detail in the mgetty faq. I
apologize for this, but I'm in a bad mood at the moment.
