Recommendations?

I am going to delge head first into the whole mgetty voice package soon,
and I am planning on buying a modem specifically for this task. I was
wondering, while looking through the faq, it seemed as if the 3com
sportster/courier series were the 'best supported' ... but I was wondering
if anyone on the list could recommend a specific model/brand that works
best with the mgetty package. I am looking for the functionality :

1. Ability to recieve faxes
2. Ability to easily distinguish between voice/data calls
3. Ability to process/display caller ID information

I know this is basically everything that the mgetty package offers, but
that's what important to me ;) I happened upon the package, and was glad I
didn't have to reinvent the wheel..

Anyhow, I look forward to your recommendations.
