Sendfax <--> MS Fax

This means, as the docs recommend, that you have to set "ignore-carrier yes"
in "sendfax.config".

This may be the second problem.  But maybe you are lucky and have the one 
out of every five USR Sportsters that works.

(BTW: There are no "USRobotics v.90 Fax" modems.  There are USR Courier,
and USR Sportster series.  Couriers work fine, Sportsters don't).
