ZyXEL Elite 2864ID problems sending fax from voice mode

I tried it by editing voice_fax.c, but it didn't work. The modem says BUSY. (BTW,
same answer when using any of the other ATD... commands, e.g. ATDW ATDM ATDI
...)As far as I understand, the ATD should make the modem (re-)synchronize with
the remote fax machine. How else can I accomplish this?
Any ideas?

OK, that's what I understand. But in my manual the command ATO1 (the "1" seems to
be important) is mentioned and described as follows (sorry, it's german to get the
original cite):

Die Anforderung einer Neuvereinbarung wird erzwungen.

I'd be very happy if this problem was solved!
