If you have a modem that implements *server side* 56K, then you can do
this.
To my knowledge, ONLY the USR I-Modem is able to do that (and only
X.2/V.90, no K56flex).

You definitely need ISDN on the server side. Don't forget that 56k is
an asymmetric technology!
