USR contacts anyone?

Hi,

I am at a loss :-( -- I found a bug in the USR Courier series today (if
the receiving modem for whatever reason only wants to do 7200 bps,
communication will reliably fail with +FHS:25), and all my contact
addresses at username@usr.com seems to have disappeared.

Does anybody on this list have a friend or contact at 3com/USR, who might
be able to make contact to the modem development guys at 3com/USR?

(The goal is: make a modem that can be absolutely recommended for heavy
duty fax usage.  The USR Courier is "near", but there are still some bugs
left, as I found today).

NB: Unsurprisingly, the ZyXEL 1496 is able to send faxes to those numbers
flawlessly -- but those are slow for data, and some users want 28.8(+) 
AND fax, so the 1496 won't do.
