Actually, this is exactly what I do NOT want to go through. I don't need
newbie support pages, wads of S-Register documentation, etc. -- I need to
speak to someone who is able to answer the question "is 3com/USR interested
in working together with me to make their fax implementation better" with
a clear and binding "yes" (or "no").
I've pretty well nailed down this firmware bug (which is biting other
users as well - there was a long +FHS:25 discussion on this list a while
ago), and now I want to get this fixed.

And where did you find *that* address? mgetty-request@muc.de told you --
and at the place where you found mgetty-request@muc.de, it told you that
the list is at mgetty@muc.de...
