While this is doable, the C interface is not a documented API yet, and as
such, it will change over time.
You could do this (and this is what I recommend) with a perl or shell
program, using the "voice shell API" (which will not change anymore).
OTOH, if you want to work with Marc to formalize and document the "C"
voice API, that would certainly be welcome.
