AutoPPP won't work with Win95

Thanks for the suggestions on this problem. Unfortunately, not a single
one of them worked. (And I agree, Gert, it's not an mgetty problem).

The only thing that I can think of at this point is that Caldera's
distribution of pppd may *not* come compiled to work with shadow
passwords. But that theory falls apart because every configuration I've
tried, I've used with *and without* shadow passwords. Nothing works!

Gert, in your message you said "don't use kdebug". Any particular reason
not to?
