Hi,
This problem reminds me of the Hayes Accura Voice/Fax modem (class 2). It used
to
work fine in voice mode only, or fax mode only, but if a voice call was
reversed
(for fax - on - demand application), the modem used to accept all the fax
settings,
and after an ATD, i.e. emit fax tone, used to just "hang". No amount of ATZ /
AT&F
worked, no responses etc., only a power cycle used to reset it.
I suspect that its modem "cpu" used to crash - as Gert put it - and not much
can
be done after that happens.
