On the BSD side of things, you can find original Zmodem implementation at:
ftp://rzbsdi01.uni-trier.de/pub/unix/communication/rzsz/rzsz.zip
Or, you can get the version based on the public domain version above from:
ftp://ftp.ihg.uni-duisburg.de/uwe/lrzsz-0.12.18.tar.gz
I'd personally recommend the lrzsz version as it's been more recently
updated and uses GNU autoconf.
