Please try add $Modem::Vgetty::testing = 1; and send me the
contents of /var/log/voicelog after the hang occurs? For me it seems
it dies between lines 21 ($v->enable_events) and 22 ($v->dial(...)).
It either does not get the READY message, or does not sent DIAL <number>
back correctly.
I have fixed some bugs, so please try to use the new beta-version:
http://www.linux.cz/~kas/Modem-Vgetty-0.03.tar.gz.
I have currently running the battery of 10 USR Sportsters
using Modem::Vgetty and answering ~180 calls per hour now, so I have
no testing HW right now. I hope I will have some modems free for testing
in a week or so. Then I will probably re-sync with the current vgetty
features and issue the new release of Modem::Vgetty.
