vgetty OGM is very, very soft

  I've gone through two modems trying to get a working vgetty configration,
and I'm almost there with this one.

  My last problem is that the outgoing message is barely audible. This is
the second time I've had this problem with a Rockwell chipset, and it is the
only problem I'm having with vgetty and the current modem.

  The OGM was plenty loud enough using another modem (not Rockwell), and the
source WAV file seems to be pretty loud. Using a recorded .rmd file as the
OGM also seems a very soft. However, the beep at the end of the message is
just fine.

  Does anyone have any ideas? Are there some hints to recording suitable
OGMs for use with Rockwell modems?
