Mgetty doesn't care - it's a pure modem-modem issue whether the connection
will go over 56k or not.  For dial-in, it will NEVER go over 33.6 unless
you have ISDN on your side (remember, 56k works only in one direction,
and the "fast side" has to be ISDN).
