I did some consulting for them last year, and there are good groups
and bad groups.  The Courrier people I worked with were very helpful,
but the groups aimed more at the consumer market (read the el-cheapo
modems) had the attitude that if they could satisfy their main
customer group -- newbies running windoze -- then the modem worked,
and thats all there is to it.  They actually satisfied the windoze
crowd by twiddling with the driver software "until it worked" instead
of fixing modem problems, as it was easier to change software on a
disk that to change firmware in the modem, or worse yet, hardware.
