I am not so sure about the not-robustness of my local modem! I tried
sending faxes to some other fax machines without any problem, and=20
in this way I say that is not really a problem of sendfax, but a problem
of the stupid fax machines on the other end, that is my experience!
But: It may be a good idea to incorporate some clean-up code in sendfax
so that if you have to fax to such machines, you can definitely do it
without problems. At the moment I use most of the time sendfax, but
when I have to send faxes to two places with philips fax machines
I have to use efax, because efax seems to clean up the g3-code.=20
Again, it is, to my experience, not the failure of sendfax, but that's
always the case with most problems which are solved by a program which
is not the source of this problem.
