Hi, all!

There is still a slight problem concerning my USR Flash modem. When
I´m at home I usually let vgetty remain running as I do not have
installed an extra runlevel on the one hand and do not want to get
certain types of error messages if I just turn off my modem.

The problem is: If I pick up the phone (which is by the way not
detected by my modem if vgetty is running - no event is generated)
quickly, vgetty.log says that modem stopped ringing properly, but
somehow the number of "RING" messages stay in the serial communication
line ;-), as the next call has just to ring once while vgetty gets
several RING - messages and so opens the line immediately.

Does anybody have an answer?
