If you want to know what *sendfax* says, don't look in the *vgetty* log
file.

But besides this, this sounds like vgetty is using /dev/modem, and sendfax
is using /dev/ttyS*. So, read the manual, and use the same device for ALL
programs.

Somene killed vgetty.. - please increase the log level so that we can see
what really happens on the line, and show the log again.

Invalid file format...

You have to convert pvf file ("portable voice file") to the proper format
for your modem (.rmd, "raw modem data") with pvftormd first.
