getting disconnected

I have installed Redhat 5.1 on a PC at work and set up mgetty to act as a
dial-in server.
I have also installed Redhat 6.0 on my home server to dial into work to
allow my network at home to connect to my work network.

My system dials in fine and connects.  Both ppp interfaces are set up with
there addresses and (with routed) the routing tables are getting updated
fine.  I am able to work between network fine, BUT my line is getting
disconnected about every 10-20 minutes.

I haven't had Redhat 6.0 at home long so I don't know if there are any
problems that would affect this or not.

This is also the first time that I have worked with mgetty and setting up a
dial in server through linux.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
