Elsa modem problems

Hi,

I've got different problems after installing a new (and other) linux
distribution.

1. sendfax doesn't work. when i want to start my queued fax jobs using
faxrunq sendfax tells me that it waits for a 'ring':

2. mgetty has problems to detect my voice modem. it's an elsa 28.8 modem
with voice extension. but this is not a generell problem. sometimes the
modems is dectected without problems.

3. vgetty doesn't play my selected message to the caller. What does the
information "No raw modem data header found" mean?
