mgetty does not report the correct utmp entry after ppp upgrade???

Interesting conclusion:

  - you changed ppp
  - you didn't change mgetty
  - something doesn't work anymore
  - it's mgetty's fault ("mgetty no longer...")

What shall I say (besides "klickediklick")?
