mgetty does not report the correct utmp entry after ppp upgrade???

Oh, it's contained in the package, it's referenced from
http://alpha.greenie.net/mgetty, I wouldn't call that "unlisted"...

Well, that's not our business.  That's a PPP problem.  Maybe the PPP
people have a patch, maybe your distribution maker has one.
