So this looks like you don't use AutoPPP, but a login + password.

So, this line is not used since it's not mgetty which launches pppd
but login. You should disable any scripting/chatting in your
client and use PAP login only.

I don't know what you mean by this.

However, this is in French only.

If you still have problems, please show the mgetty log file. This may
allow us to understand why AutoPPP doesn't work in your setup. However,
as soon as pppd is launched, this is no longer mgetty's job.
