Uh, what about a useful log?  Like "the part where all the caller ID stuff
happens"?  Please run mgetty at "-x6" and show everything from the
"waiting..." line to the "#####" line shown above.

Please don't invest time into writing programs, just show the log file.

All data is in the logs, always.
