It does, and as it's gatewayed to a newsgroup, it has to be that way.

No, Russell's spam filter works very well (I get all the spam directly,
and I can tell you how much it really filters...).

So: we're not going to make it more cumbersome for not-so-frequent posters
to use the list.  If you don't like SPAM, do political work to make it
stop.
