It's neither, it's a pure ISDN terminal adapter, no "modem" at all.

It is - anything but the log file is unwelcome. (Please show just ONE
call).

ttys0 with a *lower case* "s"?  That is not a valid tty device, use upper
case "S" - "ttyS0".
