Hi There

I'm new to this list .. and have som serius problems with sendfax ...

When I enter faxrunq after I've spooled a fax, the following happens

merapi!root:/usr/local/bin# faxrunq
processing F000001/JOB...
/usr/local/sbin/sendfax -v 8846349 f1.g3 f2.g3 
Trying fax device '/dev/ttyS0'... OK.
Dialing 8846349... OK.
sending 'f1.g3'...

/usr/local/sbin/sendfax: FAILED to transmit 'f1.g3'.
Transmission error: +FHNG:-5 (Unexpected hangup / read() error / write() error (
int.))
command exited with status 12
 send mail to cramer@dolphins.ch...

The forst page on my paper fax machineoks good. But the secon one never arives.

generate and spool the faxes as following :

 cat $fax | atp -T A4 -p -c 1 -r -M 30,20,60,10 >$psfax
 gs -sDEVICE=pbm -r204x196 -q -dSAVER -sOutputFile=$pbmpage $psfax
 faxspool -f "$mailto" -F "Fax - Gateway" $faxphone /tmp/mf$id*.pbm >


The Modem Is a Zeus 28800. I've also tried with a ZyXEL 1496, a ViperCom V.34 an
d A USR CURRIER I-Modem. gs I've tried in version 3.33 4.0 and 5.0
pbm2g3 is from the mgetty archive 
mgetty+sendfax is version 1.1.9 have also tried 0.98

Any Ideas ??
