data call and greeting-message

Hi,

I just upgraded from:

09/17 19:22:55 dem vgetty: experimental test release 0.7.2 / 12Apr97
09/17 19:22:55 dem mgetty: experimental test release 1.1.5-Apr16

to:

09/21 21:22:36 dem vgetty: experimental test release 0.7.3 / 10Aug97
09/21 21:22:36 dem mgetty: experimental test release 1.1.9-Aug17

This is a Linux box with a Creatix LC 144 VF modem.

I use answer_mode voice:fax:data in voice.conf.

mgetty and the modem recognize all type of calls reliably in both versions.

One thing has changed however:

In the older version, a data-call was recognized, WHILE the greeting-message
was played, the message was stopped short and a data-connection established.

With the newer version the data-call is NOT recognized WHILE the greeting-
message is played, but only AFTER it has ended.

If I understand the documentation right, a data-call should be recognized while
the message is played, even in the latest version.

What went wrong?

If you need a logfile, I will sent the relevant portions.
