#define ENV_TTYPROMPT in mgetty.c (but then you won't get AutoPPP either -
for that, mgetty needs to read in the login name).

Pass the login name entered in mgetty to the BBS program.

I've seen this a number of times on on-board serial ports of Pentium-1
mainboards. No idea what causes this, but when the users in question
moved to a plug-in serial card, the problem went away.
