No login prompt

Is it possible to configure mgetty so that it
doesn't print a login prompt at all? I'd like
mgetty to lauch a bbs application if someone
calls in. PPP calls already launch autoppp and
it works fine.

I could do this so that users type some login name
for bbs use but anyway I'd like like mgetty to be totally
transparent for bbs users. How can I do this?

I have another problem, too. Sometimes (often) when
mgetty prints its login prompt, some of the prompt
and text information (might be a few letters in the
middle of a word, or something) is lost. Why is this?

I'm using mgetty1.1.x on Linux 2.0.3x with Multitech
and USR-Courier-I modems. Thanks for help!
