fax and printe output

This is not strictly an mgetty issue, but I should have the right
audience.  When I print my fax file to a postscript printer and the page
is not full, the output is centered vertically on the page. I am using
the following command string

g32pbm $page | pnmtops -noturn | lpr

If I use the -nocenter option with pnmtops, then the output is printed at
the bottom of the page. What I would like is to have the output printed at
the top of the page like a fax would do.  Any recommendations?
