Use of vgetty

As I have only used mgetty so far, I'm hoping that someone can point
me in the right direction.

I need a system to do the following:
Answer a voice call
Request a DTMF PIN - if it's correct proceed otherwise hang up.
Give a list of menu options, selectable by DTMF
For each choice, execute a script (to program another device over
RS232)
Allow one menu option to specify a phone number to be passed to the
script.
Confirm that the program has been executed correctly
Hang up

This will be using a USR Sportster 33.6 voice modem (as it's the only
voice capable modem I've got)

If anyone has done this already I would be very grateful of some help.
Although I have a reasonable understanding of Linux and mgetty, it's
what I have learnt through trial and error. Therefore I find it quite
difficult to write shell or perl scripts from scratch.

Thanks in advance.

Liam
