questions about cnd-program

Hi,
I tryed to use cnd-program from mgetty.
I thought that it starts just after the CND info was found,
i.e. after the second ring, but I saw that it starts after 
the number of rings is reached the defined value in mgetty.config
(in my case - 5). What can I do if somebody called my modem
and hanged up after, for example, 3 rings, it means that callerid
found but cnd-program not yet started and I missed the number.
