Fax has "already hungup"

Some Multitech modems have had VERY bad firmware versions in the past.
Really, really bad.  So you may want to get an upgrade.

The modem reports "normal and proper end of connection", before sendfax is
even asked whether there's another page or not.  This is a clear breach of
class 2 protocol, and makes this modem pretty unusable for fax.

*puke* - please turn this OFF.  It doesn't carry any useful information,
just doubles the bandwidth uses.
