Hi,
I'm having problems sending faxes and have narrowed it down
to a problem with the pbmtext that creates the page
header. Could someone please point me in the direction
of the *best* pbm distribution or even better send me a
copy of pbmtext that works (I'm running this on a a 486
with Linux 2.0.34 -- according to uname -sr).
I have had no problems receiving faxes although I'm not
quite sure how to determine whether a fax is high or low
res. I've been printing them with g3tolj via smbclient.
Lowres faxes have been printing out all squishy.
I guess I should mention that I'm using the latast
version from http://wais.leo.org/~doering/mgetty
and a new 3Com US Robotics 56K faxmodem, model 5687.
Thanks in advance for any tips.
