The other way round: you WANT scaling of the G3 image on the client side
-- no need to reload 40 kbyte of image just to make the size of one page
a little bit bigger (or smaller, to get an overview).

Right now, we use GIF, scaled on the server side. But I want G3 as
well, scaled with a Java applet on the client side. (Hey, this Java
stuff has to be good for something, let's use it!).
Give me ALL of it :-)

Hmmm, I am NOT going to pack Emacs into that package, just because some
people like the Emacs front end that Harald has written ages ago!
(But I know what you want to say -- the basic stuff for sending and
viewing faxes should be there, as complete as possible).
BTW: which will the "final version" of mgetty+sendfax be? I didn't know
that it would ever be "final" :-)
