In 1.1.16 and 1.1.18 converting a pvf to rmd format
fails using 

pvftormd ZyXEL_1496 {2,3,4} pvffile rmdfile

The file which is produced is still a PVF format
file as shown by the file program or od

I am trying to convert an AIFF file for a greeting
into an RMD.  Any suggestions for doing so are welcome
I am running on BSD 3.1

I am not able to get this newsgroup so please
