You don't need that for *answering* the phone.

You can use Hylafax for sending faxes (with network clients) and mgetty
for answering incoming calls just fine.  So this is not an argument to use
Hylafax for answering calls, handing data calls over to mgetty.

(I'm working on networking, but that's quite some distance away)
