ppp after dialup loging prompt

However, I have some doubs, Please clearify.

In my Institute I have 100 nodes connected via UTP LAN. Some of them would
like to access internet from home using daiup to Institutes server. The
Institute server is connected to internet via 'tdma' VSATandinfact for
testing I am configuring ttyS0 as a dialinportusing mgetty.

the doubt.

can users currently on the server use ppp dial with same login and
password or i am to create a different login for ppp user ony?
