As far as I know, and from talking to the ELSA firmware people, nothing
should break.

So let's live with the errors...

Klaus: could you put up an FAQ entry?  "what does that mean, AT+IFC=2,2 ->
ERROR, in the vgetty log file?" "A: you have an old ELSA modem, which
doesn't know the AT+IFC=2,2 command yet.  Don't worry, mgetty knows this
and will fall back to the AT\Q3 command used by those older modems".
