Make sure that you have the *very* latest drivers, and that you are not
using "egcs" to compile the kernel, but gcc-2.7.2.3

Besides that, I can't help - but you may want to ask on the mgetty mailing
list (I'll send a CC: to it) whether someone else has any ideas.
