Your self-description: "silently lurking in the bushes, he pounces", while we
were discussing anti-aliasing recently, reminded me of the tiger in "Calvin &
Hobbes".  This fine example of North American culture is republished in the
Saturday paper here, translated into German and thus more enigmatic than ever.

Sorry to the list - this has nothing to do with modems and faxes - but I just
wanted to explain that I have great respect for that tiger!
