'last' displays wrong info for logins via mgetty

Problem: While a modem user (via mgetty) is logged in, "last" displays
         this user the way it should (one entry, "still logged in").
         After the user has logged out a second entry is shown by "last"
         which may look like this:

jrichert  ttyS2        14400/ARQ/V42b   Fri Nov  3 21:11 - 21:13  (00:01)
jrichert  ttyS2        14400/ARQ/V42b   Fri Nov  3 21:11 - 21:11  (00:00)

Remember: jrichert was logged in only once!

This happens only for users which came into the system via mgetty.
