Status of Rockwell chipset support for voice-modems

Hi!

Does anybody know something about the support for Rockwell-chipset based
voice-modems?

Until now, there is only a program converting ADPCM-2 to another format,
however it is not included is the voice-converter/fft-analyser 
programs of mgetty/voice.
Additionally there is no program which converts a sound-file to 
ADPCM-(2/3/4) format.

Does anybody plan a port for that?
I myself looked at the rockwell documentation, however I am a little 
bit confused about that. It looks too complicated for me.
